WEEK 8: TRANSLATOR

Hello readers!

It's Marina, this week working as translator. Welcome to my post👋
As translator I was in charge of give 5 definitions of 5 terms that we have been using in the activity of this week. The task this time was about PLE. We, as teachers, have searched many tools in order to complete it.

Now, let's talk about the concepts we've used:

1. PLE (Personal Learning Environment): this is the mix of instruments, tools, websites, apps, etc that a person uses normally to learn. (Castañeda, L. y Adell, J. ,2013)


2. Online Announcement Board: it is a tool that allows the interaction between participants to give their opinion on a topic, such a forum. It works via online. We were not very familiar with this tool, but researching about it we have seen that it is very useful! (Douglas, 2017)





3. Podcast: a digital audio or video file or recording🔊 about a specific topic or subject matter, that can be downloaded. It is currently widely used in the educational field, especially for students. (Toledo, 2019)


4. PLN (Personal Learning Network): consists of  a sistem to help students or professionals to manage their own learning and professional development. It includes the people, places, and things that help you learn.📲For that reason, it is a permanent sistem of learning. (Attwell, 2007)


5. Wikihow: it is a similar website to Wikipedia, which means that is a tool where many of the articles are co-written by multiple authors. (Demarais, 2015)


To finish, I would say that the weackness this week has been the lack of understanding of the task along with the reduced time of preparation, by the way, we have worked very hard and we hope you like it as much as we do!!
