WEEK 8: JOURNALISTS

Here we are again!👋, this week's journalist Fátima and Patricia, in this post we want to explain a little bit how have we worked during these days.

First, on Tuesday our RICT teacher Linda told us the steps to accomplish the new task, giving us a general definition and idea about PLE in order to, afterwards, work profoundly on that term and being able to relate it with the three channels. In addition, it was interesting the revelation that she did about the schema that she uses when assessing our works.

After reading the task about PLE that we had to do for thursday, our facilitator Lorena organized a videocall📹 in order to clarify the task📄 and divide the work between all the members of the group.

After dividing the work, all of us started working hard💪 on the tasks in order to have it finished by the presentation of thursday, although this week's task was a bit complex, we work really well together and we are quite happy with how we have performed the tasks during the week. 

The Wednesday was a day of work and preparation, all of us were submerged on the task, searching information, collecting data, designing the diagram, etc. 

And finally, the big day came, the presentation went quite well, we hope that our teacher and classmates enjoyed our diagram, our stars did a fantastic job presenting it, we are very proud of them, here you can observe some images of the final results and of the presentation.

Besides, we want to consider the great job that our classmates "The Pickles" did (https://picklerict.blogspot.com/).

What really amazed us was the fantastic diagram that they created using a striking and stetic background. And although the idea that they tried to expose was totally different from that of us, it was also interesting and make us consider and think about another point of view that we hadn't reached. But we want to point out too the structure and organization of their whole blog, establishing the main events that occur in their projects in an attractive way. 

Again, we have to make publish a website in which we have been inspired when carrying out not only the diagram of this task but also an informed and professional work along this subject. It was "Educational Technology" blog (https://edtech541johnsrud.wordpress.com/). It gave us a lot of enriching information about the teaching action apart from noticing the psychology that is behind the diagrams and ,thus, how importat is to portray in a visual and understanding manner our thoughts.

Finally, we have to say that we have enjoyed working as journalists this week because we get on quite well❤ and we found the role of the journalist quite entertaining, and although the circumstances are a bit difficult😓 we believe that the group has worked correctly during the whole week. 

And, in fact, we had realized that we can be journalists staying at home and instead of taking fotographs being outside and being all the members physically together, we have the alternative of showing other type of relationship and scenaries as they are fotographs of groupal videocalls at home jeje.
