CURATOR-FARMER: WEEK 5

Hello everybody 馃檵  and welcome again to our blog. I'm Lorena and this week I'm playing the curator-farmer role 馃懖.

As a curator, I am responsible for compiling and organizing in a schematic way all the information sources that my group has used for the development of the activity. As I consider that this role is one of the easiest ones, I also help my partners with their roles and the group's work in general. This week we have been working, as previous weeks in the activity 'Un d铆a en el cole de mi maestro' 馃懆馃懇.

On Thursday we had the robot activity and I can say without doubt that it was the best. We had 8 children who were very enthuasiastic and with motivation to learn馃槉. As they arrive a little bit late, we had to make our activity shorter. We explain them briefly about the robot and the geometric shapes we wanted them to remember and afterwards we splitted up ourselves in pairs to work with them about the actions and sequels they must be able to program with the robot 馃檶. Finally, they drove the robot across the circuit and the result was very satisfactory.

On Tuesday, we suffered a mishap due to the expansion of COVID-19. Due to this virus, we only received two students 馃槬 but well, we had to be positive and these students had a great time. We were doing the augmented reality activity and after an explanation of the water cycle and an experiment that shocked them, they painted some drawing and turned them into life. It was such an exciting week that we will never forget.
