TRANSLATORS: WEEK 6

Hello everybody, welcome again to our blog. We are Lorena and Fátima 👈😋 and this week we work as translators. Our work as translators consists in defining the five main terms related to what we have been doing and detailing if we have found any weakness while working 👷.
But this week has been a very special one. Due to CO-VID crisis, we did our first virtual class where we exposed the activity of 'Un día en el cole de mi maestro' but in an online format 💻. If you check some of the other posts from this week you will find more information about these activities. But now, let's review some concepts related with them.



- Kahoot📳: Kahoot is an app we have used many times for educational purposes. With it, you can make quizzes and send it to whoever you want and it is fun because it is like a competition and it is always entertaining to compete with your partners. For this week we have used it so that our kids could review geometrical shapes and angles on their own.

- ACAD (Activity-centered Analysis and Design): it is a model focused on the analysis of activities within complex learning situations, producing a connection among the learning activity and the tasks of design ( set design, epistemic design and social design)👐.

- Blackboard collaborate: it is a virtual platform that provides communication spaces. It allows the participation of many people 👩👨👧👦 which can share different resources: presentations, a virtual blackboard and a chat. Moreover, you have the option of switching off the camera and the audio in such videoconference. Here we are showing you the platform, as we used it in the last RICT lesson.

- Power Point: it is a presentation programme in which the main goal is to explain the subject content in a schematic way, making it understandable and clear. Besides, it provides a large variety of services: you can add fotographs, music, audio and choose the decoration style that you prefer✌.



- Skype 🙎: Skype is an app available for mobile phone or for computer that permits the communication between people, allowing also to see the other person. It is a very useful app because you can talk with many other people at the same time, something impossible with other apps and this week it has been our only communication source because we are in our houses without being able to meet 😷

- Circuit 🚗: A circuit is a path created so that things could travel inside it. This week we have used a circuit for Harry Potty. We are very proud of our circuit, we included an exit and an end, some pictures from the Harry Potter's films in order to make it more real and so on.



Surprisingly, thinking that we wouldn't find new terms to define since we didn't have a new task as such, we did achieve to explain some technological terms related to this new virtual plan of teaching.



As a final note , we could say that the main weakness has been again the incapacity to work physically together due to this strange situation. Although this week has been a little bit difficult to organize because of such crisis, we have worked in a comfortable way distributing several tasks and sharing our ideas collectivelly via Google Drive and WhatsApp 📲.

We are staying at home but we are still working hard 💪 and, what is more important, as a team 🙌 !
